Ander's Attic
If you're like most Desert Explorers, you love to root around in crowded, dusty used-book stores, searching for treasures - books and magazines on the desert southwest that you must have for your already bursting library. Bibliophiles such as these will enjoy a visit to Ander's Attic in Riverside.
Lorraine Anders keeps the place open Monday - Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. The shelves and even areas of the floor are crowded with books on all subjects. If you can't find what you're looking for, ask her. She says she "loves the thrill of the hunt." (Her words!)
